ECA Generators

AQUAECA Electrochemical Generators

AQUAECA generators are for the synthesis of an ecologically safe electrochemically activated multipurpose solution – the AQUAECA Solutions (Anolyte and Cahtolyte) with innumerable uses including the sterilization of medical instruments, disinfection and cleaning in the medical, food and countless other industries and in many countries, even for antiseptic treatments in medical and dental procedures and for the treatment of infectious diseases for humans and animals.

NOTE: Hypochlorous Acid is not yet FDA approved in the United States, but it is more broadly used in many other developed nations of the world.

The manufacturer collaborates closely with the Global Research and Production Association, a worldwide renowned leader in the development of state-of-the-art medical equipment, developed and produces the unique AQUAECA generators for the synthesis of ecologically friendly and highly effective cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing solutions.

The AQUAECA generator’s operation is based on the electrochemical transformation of a low mineralization (LM) sodium chloride solution into an AQUAECA activated neutral anolyte solution, a metastable solution with a very low concentration of biocidal agents because they work at an extremely high efficacy even at low concentrations.

AQUAECA Generator Requirements for Use

The AQUAECA generators are automated, reliable, straightforward and do not require constant operator’s control. They are fully programmable and produce solutions with highly stable parameters. Production of the solutions based on the pre-programmed parameters begins only 10 seconds after switching on the generator and stabilizing the incoming sodium chloride and water. The AQUAECA generator requires water at a consistent pressure and flow rate, common salt (NaCl) and electricity. In addition, a small amount of muriatic, hydrochloric, citric or acetic acid (white vinegar) at a concentration of about 1 liter of the 3% acid per week for an electrochemical reactor containing 10 FEM-3 elements is required for regular cleaning of the reactor’s cathode chamber from sediments of alkali-earth metal hydroxides.

If necessary, the AQUAECA generator can be equipped with a special portable generator for the electrochemical synthesis of hydrochloric acid from the sodium chloride solution for cleaning the reactor’s cathode chamber. If a water supply system is absent at the site of the AQUAECA generator operation, it can be substituted by a reservoir equipped with a pump and filled with fresh water (e.g.: from a river or a lake) along with a water softener or RO (reverse osmosis) system. The AQUAECA generators are ecologically beneficial and enable the abandonment of the many toxic cleaning, disinfecting and sterilizing agents.

The AQUAECA generators are indispensable in remote locations, military garrisons, frontier posts and in emergency situations whenever the urgent supply of large amounts of disinfecting agents is necessary.

Automated AQUAECA-A Installations

Healthcare institutions are increasingly interested in electrochemically activated sterilizing, cleaning, and disinfecting solutions. It is explained by their ecological safety, absence of agents toxic for human beings and warm-blooded animals, high microbicidal
activity and in addition, by their relatively low cost, easy production and many applications. At the same time, healthcare institutions show the strongest interest in the AQUAECA-generator-based automated installations (AQUAECA-A installations), which are able to supply any required amount of the activated solutions. In addition to the actual AQUAECA generator itself, such installations include hydraulic systems providing connection to the water supply system via a pressure reducer, an electromagnetic valve, a filter for capturing mechanical suspended matter, and volume limits for the activated solutions with a floating level controller, which is electrically connected to the starter of the AQUAECA generator.

The AQUAECA-A installation also includes systems for storage of the acidic solution, the automatic cleaning of the electrochemical reactor and the consequent collection of the waste acidic solution. In cases of low pressure in the water supply system, the AQUAECA-A installation includes additional capacity for water because it is equipped with a pump that is controlled by the automatic control system. The installation provides healthcare or other institutions with a permanent supply of the required volume
(regularly from 200 to 2,000 liters) of the ready-to-use electrochemically activated sterilizing, disinfecting and cleaning solution.

Fog & Mist Applications:

The manufacturer, in collaboration with global researchers and experts, produce the AQUAECA generators with installed centrifugal fog generators. Applying Anolyte as a fog or fine mist has proven to be very effective for the treatment of premises in healthcare institutions, surgery units, cattle-breeding farms, storehouses for fruits and vegetables and many others.
